Louis Vuitton pop-up sold more than Supreme-tie-up, thanks to Virgil.

Virgil Abloh is on a roll this year! Replacing Kim Jones to become the first African to head this iconic French Menswear brand, he is proving that this decision by Louis Vuitton is by far their best!

A pop-up store in Tokyo that opened last week, gained 30% more than Vuitton’s collaborative tie-up with Supreme in 2018. Abloh credits this success to “pure unadulterated desire,” mentioning a particularly strong demand for tailored ready-to-wear, mini trunks in white leather and transparent and iridescent weekend bags. Merchandised as a full collection, this pop up became a super success despite the lack of any marketing campaigns for it.
